Jordy Berne
Jordy Berne is an Associate Economist at RAND. His research examines the drivers of economic opportunity, with a particular focus on education policy, childhood circumstances, and social safety net programs. Berne specializes in causal inference methods and recently studied public preschool programs and K–12 literacy reforms. Prior to graduate school, he worked on labor economics topics at the Congressional Budget Office. Berne holds a B.B.A. in economics from the University of Georgia and a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Michigan.
