Amanda Ketner Weissman
Amanda (Ketner) Weissman completed her Ph.D. in educational studies and an IES predoctoral fellow at the University of Michigan. Weissman is a research statistician developer at SAS. She specializes in quantitative research methods for P-12 education policy (i.e., educational statistics). Focusing on machine learning, experimental and quasi-experimental causal methods, and multilevel modeling, she is passionate about finding the most statistically appropriate way to answer questions that aim to improve educational experiences and outcomes for students. Her experience includes program evaluation domestically and internationally, algorithm construction for early warning systems, and value added models.
