Kristen Cummings
Kristen Cummings is a Postdoctoral Fellow for the National Center for Rural Education Research Networks at the Center for Education Policy Research. Kristen recently completed her doctorate in Higher Education from the University of Michigan, where she was an IES Causal Inference in Education Policy Research Predoctoral Fellow. Her dissertation used mixed methods to understand the impact of a tuition-free community college program on rural Iowans. Previously, Kristen worked as an education researcher at Abt Associates, where she worked on federally funded studies focused on workforce development, K-12 education, and postsecondary enrollment and success. Kristen has a B.A. in Psychology from Rochester Institute of Technology and an M.A. in higher education from the University of Arizona.
