Katie Laursen

Katie Laursen is a PhD student in Economics and Public Policy at the University of Michigan. Her research interests are primarily in the economics of education and labor economics. Before beginning graduate school, Katie worked as a research assistant for Amanda Kowalski – a health economist at Michigan – for two years. She graduated from UC Davis in 2021 with a BA in economics and with a minor in mathematics.
