Tiffany Wu
Tiffany Wu is a doctoral candidate in the Combined Program in Education and Psychology (CPEP) at the University of Michigan and is pursuing a dual master's degree in Statistics. Her research weaves machine learning, AI, causal inference, and psychometric methods to design, evaluate, and scale PK-12 tools and interventions. She is deeply committed to using data science to advance educational opportunity and equity. Through research-practice partnerships, she aims to make her research accessible, practice-relevant, and responsive to the lived experiences of students, families, and practitioners across diverse educational contexts.
Tiffany's research is deeply influenced by her previous work as a public high school teacher in Chicago and then as a research analyst for an education non-profit prior to starting her PhD. Tiffany received a B.S. in secondary education and history from Northwestern University and a M.A. in psychology from the University of Chicago.
