Luz Mayancela

Luz Mayancela graduated with a BA from the Gerald Ford School of Public Policy and was a research assistant for the Education Policy Initiative. As a Chicago native and a product of public schools, she is passionate about early childhood education and workforce development. At the University of Michigan, she was the Lead Director for La Casa and columnist for The Michigan Daily. Previously, she served as the Research and Programming Assistant for the CREATE Center (Community-Based Research on Equity, Activism, and Transformative Education).
