Rebecca Trychel

Rebecca Trychel is a second-year MPP student and a research assistant at the Education Policy Initiative. She also holds an AAS from Washtenaw Community College and a BA in Political Science from the University of Michigan. A lifelong Michigander and working mother of two, Rebecca's lived experiences and previous work in early childhood education and care research, along with her spouse's career experience as a public school educator, have informed her commitment to advancing policies that support families and improve educational equity.
