Xavier Fields

Xavier Fields is a PhD student in Sociology and Public Policy and a Research Assistant with the Education Policy Initiative. His primary research interest is the interaction between institutions and personal identity, and how schools mediate identity disclosure for LGBTQ students. He previously worked as a Research Associate at SRI International. There he supported research and technical assistance projects covering topics like college and career pathways, STEM curriculum, and arts education.
