Xiaoyang Ye

Postdoctoral Researcher in Education Policy in the Annenberg Institute at Brown University

Xiaoyang Ye is a Postdoctoral Researcher in Education Policy in the Annenberg Institute at Brown University. He studies the economics of education, with a focus on understanding and advancing education policies to reduce poverty and inequality. He currently works on improving college access, choice, and success using big data-based behavioral policy interventions with local, state, and national policy/practice partners in both the U.S. and China. He was a National Academy of Education/Spencer Dissertation Fellow and received the New Scholars Award and the Jean Flanigan Outstanding Dissertation Award from AEFP. He earned his Ph.D. in Higher Education (economics and K-20 education policy concentrations) from the University of Michigan in 2019 and was a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Princeton School of Public and International Affairs in 2019-20.
